Answers before event day

Questions answered. Plans made clearer.

From choosing an attraction to preparing the property, these answers explain what to expect when renting from The Marques Amusement Company across Metro Atlanta.

New to The MAC?

Start with the date, address, and audience.

The fastest path to an accurate recommendation is knowing when and where the event will happen, who will attend, and how you want the experience to feel.

Choosing and reserving

Booking questions.

How do I reserve an item?

Choose an available rental, enter the requested event details, review the reservation terms, and complete the required payment or deposit. A quote alone does not necessarily reserve inventory; follow the confirmation instructions provided during checkout.

How far ahead should I book?

Reserve as soon as your date, address, and event plan are known. Spring, summer, fall weekends, school celebrations, graduations, and holidays can book well in advance.

Which inflatable is best for my event?

Consider the youngest and oldest participants, available space, setup surface, attendance, event length, and whether guests prefer bouncing, sliding, racing, or interactive play. Contact us when you want a recommendation.

What events does The MAC serve?

We support birthdays, family gatherings, schools, daycares, churches, corporate events, graduations, festivals, community programs, and other approved celebrations.

Does availability shown online guarantee my reservation?

Inventory and scheduling must be confirmed through the completed reservation process. Availability may change until the required agreement and payment steps are complete.

Can I add items after booking?

Additional rentals may be added when inventory, vehicle capacity, setup timing, site space, and crew availability permit. Request changes as early as possible.

Getting ready for arrival

Delivery and setup questions.

When will my rental be delivered?

Enter the time guests will begin using the rental as the event start time. Delivery and setup may occur earlier within the route window communicated for your reservation. Exact routing depends on the full delivery schedule, access, and setup requirements.

Do you deliver to my city?

The MAC serves Powder Springs, Atlanta, Marietta, Smyrna, Austell, Douglasville, and other Metro Atlanta communities. Delivery availability and any applicable charges depend on the complete event address.

Does the equipment have to be set up on grass?

No, but the exact surface must be disclosed before booking. Some items can be secured on approved hard surfaces or indoors; others may require grass or a specific anchoring method.

How much space do I need?

Use the dimensions listed for the item as a starting point, then allow additional clearance for the entrance, blower, anchoring, water connections, and safe guest circulation. Measure before booking.

What access information should I provide?

Tell us about gates, stairs, elevators, hills, long carries, restricted parking, loading docks, security check-in, indoor routes, and any distance between the delivery vehicle and setup area.

Can the crew move the rental after setup?

Once secured, equipment must not be moved, disconnected, repaired, or re-anchored by customers or venue staff. Contact The MAC if the setup creates a concern.

What power is required?

Most inflatables require a suitable dedicated electrical outlet within the distance communicated for the rental. Multiple blowers may require separate circuits. Generators may be available when reserved in advance.

What do water slides require?

The renter typically provides a working water source and hose access that can reach the setup area. Confirm the exact utility and drainage requirements for the selected slide before event day.

Responsible operation

Safety and weather questions.

Are rentals cleaned and inspected?

Equipment is cleaned, prepared, and reviewed for visible readiness before use. Guests must still follow posted rules and keep food, drinks, shoes, sharp objects, pets, and prohibited substances away from inflatables.

Does every inflatable include an attendant?

No. Unless contracted staffing is specifically included in the reservation, the renter must provide attentive, responsible adult supervision throughout the period of use.

Can different ages play together?

Participants should be grouped by similar size, age, and ability when needed. The supervising adult must enforce the attraction’s posted capacity and participant restrictions.

Can a dry bounce house be used with water?

No. Water may only be used on equipment specifically designated and set up for wet operation. Unauthorized water use can damage equipment and create unsafe conditions.

What happens during high wind or severe weather?

Stop use immediately, remove all participants, and follow the shutdown guidance provided. Equipment must not be used during unsafe wind, lightning, severe weather, loss of power, pooling water, or unstable conditions.

What if power is lost?

Clear participants immediately and keep everyone away while the inflatable deflates. Do not enter, move, reconnect, or alter equipment without following the instructions provided or contacting The MAC.

Are inflatables lead-free?

Equipment specifications vary by manufacturer and production date. If your organization requires a particular material certification or compliance document, submit that requirement before booking so it can be reviewed for the selected item.

Where can I read the complete safety guidance?

Visit the MAC Safety page and review all equipment labels, operating instructions, venue rules, and the signed rental agreement.

Reservation terms

Payments and policy questions.

Is a deposit required?

Most reservations require a deposit or other payment to confirm the booking. The checkout process or proposal will show the amount required for your order. Deposits and payments are applied according to the signed agreement.

When is the remaining balance due?

Your invoice, reservation confirmation, and signed agreement state the applicable balance deadline. Complete payment on time to prevent delivery or reservation issues.

What payment methods are accepted?

Available payment options are displayed on the invoice or checkout screen. Contact The MAC before the due date if your organization needs an approved purchasing or payment process.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation, rescheduling, refund, and credit terms depend on the signed rental agreement and current MAC policies. Review them before completing the reservation.

What happens if rain is forecast?

A forecast alone does not automatically cancel a reservation. Follow the weather and cancellation procedures in your agreement and communicate within the required decision window.

Do you offer overnight or weekend rentals?

Eligible items may have overnight or multi-day options displayed during booking. Pricing, pickup timing, property security, and availability vary by item and date.

Are delivery charges included?

Delivery availability and charges depend on the event address, route, order, and current delivery policy. Enter the complete address during booking for the most accurate information.

Where can I review the full policies?

Review the signed rental agreement and the MAC Policies page. The agreement for your reservation controls if general website information differs.

Parks, organizations and complex events

Venue and larger-event questions.

Do you deliver to parks?

Yes, when the park permits the equipment and the reservation requirements can be met. The customer is responsible for permits, approvals, reserved space, utility access, parking, and any venue-specific rules unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Can you provide insurance documentation?

Schools, churches, companies, municipalities, and managed venues should submit certificate wording and vendor requirements early. Documentation availability must be reviewed for the event and requesting organization.

Can you support schools and churches?

Yes. Share the attendance, age range, schedule, venue contact, setup surface, available utilities, access window, and documentation requirements so the right attraction plan can be considered.

Can The MAC plan a corporate or community event?

Yes. Larger events may combine inflatables, interactive attractions, concessions, seating, tents, entertainment, and supporting services based on availability and site requirements.

How early should a large event begin planning?

Begin once the date, location, attendance estimate, budget range, and event goals are known. Multi-attraction events require more time for layout, access, utilities, documentation, staffing, and logistics.

What information should a venue provide?

Provide the complete address, venue contact, site map when available, setup and breakdown windows, loading instructions, surface details, power and water access, certificate wording, and prohibited equipment or anchoring methods.

Website answers provide general guidance. Item-specific information, your signed rental agreement, equipment labels, venue requirements, and applicable laws take priority.
